“There is healing in the LongWalk”

The words of Mr Bricks Mokolo.  As Gauteng lets us go after almost two weeks and we make our way south to other communities across this country of diversity, generosity, richness of spirit, of giving and receiving, we take with us these words, “There is healing in the LongWalk”.

WhatsApp Image 2018-08-08 at 17.26.37Indeed the Walk will be Long but we have seen how when we walk together, the learning is greater the impact is greater, we have nothing to fear.  Although the walk to transformation and change might be long, we have begun that walk, and though we see poverty all around, we have experienced the richness of the people and the hunger to turn things around.

Encouraged and enthused by the dialogues that have opened up, conversations far from over, friendships freshly formed, we head south knowing that we are not alone in our vision and our mission to change mindsets and in so doing, changing lives, even our own.

Good company in a journey makes the way seem shorter. — Izaak Walton
