• Have you come to the end of your rope? What did you think of Elroy’s advice about how he handled tough times in his own life – by making a knot right there at the end of the rope … and just hanging on for a moment longer?
• Something else that Elroy explained was his journey in getting his coffee shop … how it started with a dream … but before the dream became a reality, he first trained and upskilled himself in the art of making great coffee, then saved for three years while he worked full time, then bought the equipment, then grabbed the opportunity … and then opened his shop. Where are you on your own journey? Make some notes about areas where you can fill some gaps – maybe you need to acquire a skill by watching some YouTube videos or  working with someone or doing an online course. Maybe you need to do a job that you don’t feel passionate about so that you can save enough to buy equipment or pay rent or pay a licence. Write it down. Plan it carefully.
